Welcome to the home of Haywood AYSO soccer.  This web site exists to provide information to all current and prospective players, parents, and volunteers of the region.  AYSO is an ALL VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION!  It is operated through the dedicated efforts of the parents of your community.  The children of Haywood County need your help!  Check the volunteer page to find out how you can help the children of your community.  Check back here for the latest in local soccer news and information.

Coach Training
Coach training will be held Saturday August 9th, at the Waynesville Rec Center, Creek-side Pavilion. Specific times, along with other important information, will be posted to the Coach's Corner, later this week, probably tomorrow.

If you have already completed the proper age division coach training on-line, you will only need to show up for the Field Portion of the training; those time will be posted as well. I strongly encourage you to do the on-line training. U-5 thru U-10 classroom portion can be taken on-line (Note: U6 covers both U-5/U-6 age divisions) It will greatly reduce the time that you spend on the classroom material.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please call Jeffrey Alspaugh at 828-550-3185.

Thanks again for your willingness to coach for AYSO 572's kids. They are worth it!

Suggestions for Game Day
Just a word of advice based on experience. Remember to pack a water bottle, a chair, an umbrella, sunscreen and a hat. Also It is very important to wear the color uniform your coach tells you to and bring the other uniform as well just in case either you misunderstood or the other team is short a player or 2. I hope you and your player are having a great season so far.
